Annual Compensation Range: $75,000-$100,000

Our Finance team has an opportunity for a Senior Accountant.  To be successful in this role, a candidate would have a minimum of five years' experience in Finance or an Accounting function and comfortable completing all of the job requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Participate in monthly close via creation of journal entries, reconciliation, and analysis of accounts
  • Understand and explain in detail financial variances between actual results, financial forecasts, prior year results, and budgets
  • Support the Controller with maintenance of corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure conformance with US GAAP and other laws/regulations
  • Create detailed weekly sales reports
  • Support the Cost Accounting function
  • Process full cycle Accounts Receivable including setup of customer accounts, generate invoices, post payments, and perform collection activities
  • Reconcile cash and customer accounts daily
  • Review general ledger activity for accuracy and resolve any posting issues
  • Identify and help implement process improvements
Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Finance/Accounting Function required
  • Experience and clear understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, general ledger, full cycle accounts receivable, and ERP systems 
  • Manufacturing industry experience highly desired
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, analytical abilities and organization
  • Proficient using MS Office Suites including Excel spreadsheets (creating pivot tables, developing charts with complex formulas)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player with the ability to have positive and effective working relationships
  • Desire to work in a challenging environment, be able to change gears quickly, and have excellent time management skills
